Friday Five

Hey friends, happy, happy Friday!!  This Friday is extra special because it’s BG’s last day of school!  We’re so excited to start summer vacation.  Where we live it’s a tradition to ride bikes to school on the last day.  Some of the older kids actually ride horses, which I’m sure BG will do someday, but for now he’s thrilled to ride his bike about 5 miles to school with all of his friends!  I’m going to ride as well because I’m an overprotective mom that doesn’t dare let him ride alone and I’m sure it will be great exercise for me too!

I got a Rodan + Fields macro exfoliator this week and I love it!  They recommend only using it once a week, but I’m dying to try it again.  My skin looked so smooth and fresh after the first use.  I can only imagine it getting better the more I get to use it.  Check it out here.

EJ “rode” a horse for the first time yesterday!  I’ve been so excited to get her on a horse but every time we’re saddled and she’s with us, it’s been too cold.  This week though she got the opportunity to sit up on dad’s horse and she looked like she liked it.

I love a good sale, but Nordstrom sales are the best!  I have my eye on these Zella leggings because I need some motivation to workout and I’m wanting these wedges.

Everyone always asks if EJ sleeps through the night yet, but she has been since somewhere between 11 and 12 weeks old.  We started Moms on Call when was about 3 weeks old and she’s been pretty great!  At first we were getting up twice a night and it was so tiring.  I remember when she graduated to only one time and how relieved I was.  I left EJ with my in-laws for 4 nights when she was only 10 weeks old and I was somewhat relieved knowing they would only have to get up with her once a night and could still have some rest.  As soon as I got home that’s when I started teaching her to go all night.  Usually she sleeps from 9:30 to about 6:30.  Then I feed and dress her.  She falls back asleep on our way to school and then at 9:00 she’s awake again.  I’m hoping that with summer we can get her to sleep until 7:30 or 8 in the morning.  This way she can eat more in one sitting but have fewer bottles throughout the day.  That would sure make my life more productive, but I really shouldn’t complain because I have a baby who sleeps all night and I can’t sing enjoy praises for Moms on Call!
