Friday Five

I just love how much these two love each other.  I hope it always stays this way.

It’s time to start taking cows to the mountain.  Forest turn-out days are always happy in our world because it means we don’t have to feed/keep the cows in irrigated pastures anymore.  Not only is that a lot less work for us, but it’s cheaper and allows us to irrigate and grow pasture for the fall, when we bring the cows home to wean calves and really need that extra grass.  BG has become a great horse rider and helper this spring.  It’s amazing how well he gets along with his horse and there’s a huge difference in his abilities from last fall until this spring.

Summer fruit.  Need I say more?

Our town hosts an annual balloon festival.  This year we got up early to watch the balloons launch at daylight.  Then, we went to the festivities at night where the balloons were fired up on the street for everyone to see.  It’s a pretty neat thing to see!

EJ is obsessed with this duck.  She’ll stare at it for seriously 10-20 minutes at a time.  It’s like she’s waiting for the duck to quack.  Or move.  It’s so funny for us to watch.

That’s all for this week.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

SPRING oh hey friday_zpsual7vhsf
