Easy Spaghetti Meat Sauce

I love spaghetti (all pasta really; I should be an Italian)!  I never buy spaghetti sauce because it’s one of the easiest things to make and, not to brag, but my homemade version tastes a lot better than the store bought.  DG actually told me that I should bottle and sell it and we might get rich!  (I wish!)

As long as your hamburger is thawed out, you can have homemade meat sauce in about 20-30 minutes.  By the time you boil the pasta, get your salad made and dinner table set, the sauce will be finished.

spaghetti sauce

1 lb. hamburger
2 tbs. minced garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
1 can tomato sauce
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can petite diced tomatoes
3-4 mushrooms, sliced
pepper and salt

1.  Brown hamburger

2.  Add garlic and onions and let them sauté over medium low heat for a few minutes

3.  Add tomato sauce, stewed and diced tomatoes, mushrooms and seasoning (to taste)

4.  Once the sauce starts to bubble turn it to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
